Among the many treatises of the Academy of Sciences (published by Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht up to 2007) are a number of individual publications by some of the best-known researchers on Pre- and Early History. The series Archaeologia Homerica (founded by Friedrich Matz and Hans-Günther Buchholz and edited on behalf of the German Archaeology Institute) is concerned with the material and intellectual background of Homer´s epics. A detailed index of all volumes is scheduled to round off the series in 2013.
