The relation between Judaism and the studies of the Old and New Testaments is one focus in the field of Jewish studies. Compelling single topics such as Jewish religion, history and culture as well as the complex integration of close fields complete this programme. Especially the series “Jüdische Religion, Geschichte und Kultur” (JRGK) offers a comprehensive overview in terms of epochs and cultural spaces. The “Journal of Ancient Judaism” (JAJ) focuses on all questions concerning Jewish literature, religion, culture and history from the era of Babylonian exile to the compilation of the Babylonian Talmud.
