Linguistics

This part of our programme includes linguistic studies that examine Indo-European languages. A Sanskrit dictionary on the Buddhist texts from the Turfan find, reference books on early Greek epic and monographs from the series Old High German constitute our focus. Also introductions on German Linguistics have been published.

Literary Studies

Our Literary Studies programme covers cultural studies, comparative and European studies.
Single monographs set new directions. In our series Palaestra we publish established works with research focus on European literature. V&R also releases a range of study literature.
