In his book, Wolfgang Greive honors the work of Wolfhart Pannenberg (1928-2014) as a unique concept that strengthens Christian faith in its claim to truth. He argues that Pannenberg's thinking is a critical counterpart to post-modern particularism. In post-modern perspective, "truth" is an unproductive term. But for Pannenberg, the question of truth can be a fruitful one, provided that the radical historicality of truth is taken seriously. By correlating the basic problems of philosophy and theology, Pannenberg gives answers to the big questions of humanity: Where do we come from? Where are we going? Who are we? In what do we trust?
