This study takes account of the recent history and theology of the worldwide Pentecostal Movement from an intercultural as well as cultural science perspective. The point of reference is the international Pentecostal church "Nzambe-Malamu", which originated in the DR Congo. Multiperspectivity is the methodological key to this research. Its analyses comprise a combination of intercultural theological, clerical--historical as well as ecclesiological and ecumenical questions. These four theoretical dimensions converge in the "Performance" as the fifth and main analytical instrument. The objective is to take account of "Nzambe-Malamu", its world-wide growth and its establishment in Europe as a "migrant church" in synchronic and diachronic perspective. With its performative religious acts, "Nzambe-Malamu" constantly reinvents itself on a continuum between fragility and empowerment. Generally we may understand the "discursive network of relations" of "Nzambe-Malamu" only if we take its self-descriptions seriously.
